I am still editing a huge amount of images from Japan and can’t wait to show them to you. For now I want to share a few images from the start of my trip. These images were taken at the Istanbul Airport. I had a layover here and was amazed at the structure and design of the airport. It felt like a huge shopping mall. So many stores, shops, cafes and restaurants can be found here that there is no time to be bored at the duty free zone. It served more than 37 million passengers in 2021, making it the busiest airport in Europe and 13th-busiest airport in the world in terms of total passenger traffic and, by serving more than 27 million international passengers, the 2nd-busiest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic. It's quite the experience.
